Windows 10: Texting a Group Not Working

I'm using MS Phone Link and have connected my android phone and am happy with the interface. My question is why can I not send text messages to a group of three? It works on single text but not groups? Please Advise

Group Texting

I have a Samsung Focus Windows 7 phone. I want to be able to send a text to a group of contacts at the same time. For example I have 10 people in my contact list and I want to send the same text to all 10 of them without having to select each one individually.
I used to be able to create "groups" of contacts on my blackberry that contained up to 10 contacts. I have not figured out how to do this yet on my Samsung Focus. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

 

group text issue for windows phone 8.1

I was able to resolve the issue using the steps outlined in the following forum. The short of it is to disable group text, restart, reenable group text. I still had to delete the problematic group conversations that exhibited the issue with me listed as
a recipient.

Group texting

Group Texting should be available on the Lumia 640, if it is running Windows phone 8.1. If you have upgraded the phone to Windows 10 Mobile I believe it hasn't been fully and properly implemented yet.

There are factors that will effect whether or not you can send/receive Group Texts on WP8.1.

• Group Texting on WP8.1 might require that your service agreement with your carrier has MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) enabled.
• Group Texting on WP8.1 might require that you have Data service with your carrier turned on. Although, if you do not want to actually USE data there is a work around for this. Ask if this applies to you.

The first thing to check is that Group Texting is turned "ON". Group Texting requires that the proper settings are enabled on your phone. To check this, open Messaging --> tap the "..." in the bottom right --> tap "settings" --> toggle Group text to "on".
