Windows 10: textinputhost.exe legitimacy

I have a 2021 Asus Zephyrus G14 with AMD integrated graphics and Nvidia RTX3060 dedicated graphics.

While on battery and supposedly only using the integrated graphics chip, I have an app called "textinputhost.exe" that is using the dedicated graphics. From researching, I see that there is a legitimate Windows process called "TextInputHost.exe" but that there may be a crypto currency mining trojan called "textinputhost.exe". The app doesn't show up in Task Manager, though it does show up in my Asus bloatware called "Armory Crate" that is used to monitor and manipulate the power profiles, fan speeds, and overclock.

Does anyone know if this "textinputhost.exe" is actually a trojan or not?

NESHTA.A VIRUS REMOVED BUT .EXE NOT WORKING

It is possible that you .exe is not working due to corrupted system files or account. To assist you better, kindly answer the following questions:

• Does this happen with a specific application or with all of your application?
• Have you tried creating a new admin account to check if the issue also with new account or only with the current account?

USB drive will not run exes.

I suggest you to run the program in compatibility mode by following the steps provided below and check if the issue persist.

• Right click on the “.exe” file of the program and select properties.
• Under Compatibility tab, check the option for “Run in Compatibility mode”.
• Select the Operating System from the drop down list.
• Click on Apply and OK.
