Windows 10: TextN

Why can't I download TextNow to my alcatal4 phone. I've added device. I have Windows 10. It also says my device should be compatible. It also shows that I own the app. When I go to install on this device it says there is no device that has windows on it. It also shows its available on my PC. What do I do. This operating system could be so tight, but yet its so weak. Please help

Up to date version of Edge?

I tried to reply to the email, but I got a "message undeliverable" note and another note to reply here. You don't make it easy.

Answers: I do not get any error message, just absence of text when using Edge.

I do not view television programs on other websites, so I don't know how widespread the problem might be.



I ran the troubleshooter and it detected no problems.

To my knowledge, I had not changed anything just before the text disappeared a couple of weeks ago. Yesterday I had a message that an update was available. I thought the update might solve the problem, so I went through the process. After the update the
text was still missing with Edge (not with Google Chrome).





This first screenshot shows the screen of the TV program På spåret, using Edge as browser. Notice that there is no capital T in the lower right-hand corner. Contrast with a shot from a little later in the same program, using Google Chrome: Notice the green
capital T in the lower right hand corner. Clicking on this gives one the choice of textning på (text on) or textning av (text off).

I can't seem to type below this second screenshot, so I won't include another screenshot showing a view with text. På spåret is a quiz show. If I don't get all the spoken Swedish, seeing the text gives me another chance.
