    Thanks for the bad advice.

So for some reason, after the last windows update, my default GPU got switched from my dedicated GPU to my integrated GPU which took my screen refresh rate from 144 mhz to 60. Following advice I’ve seen on here, I disabled my integrated GPU through device manager. That immediately gave me a black screen, that I can’t undo. So, is there any advice on how to fix this now?

    :)

No need for /r afterwards, you've already done one. The documentation says ".../b includes the functionality of /r..." - it's the same as doing /r but with the additional step of clearing the bad block list before it starts.

Seeking advice, bad performance after updating: A couple of days ago my system did an automatic update (which I have hopefully found a work around to prevent). Few probelms after following bad advice: I needed more space in C: and found about 50GB in C:\windows\Users'Win7. My system was upgraded from Win 7 and I wondered if this folder was something ex-Win7 I didn't need anymore. I went onto MS Support chat and they said Yes. But it removed most of the files on my Desktop....
