SPECS : Ryzen 5 3600Asrock B550 Taichi Motherboard Realtek onboard audioRTX 2060both my headset and speakers keeps disconnecting and reconnecting every few seconds whenever im using any programs with voip such as games, discord and anything that requires sound device. i hv already returned the mobo for rma before because i thought it was an issue wit the mobo audio jack but they returned it back saying theres no problem with it. i hv installed windows 3 times to no avail. updated to the newest windows version, updated to the newest drivers and still the problem persist. tried to rollback win

Audio Device Keeps Reconnecting and Disconnecting

Hey all. I just started having this problem with my computer where my audio device suddenly disconnects and then reconnects after a second. This causes the audio to cut out, but also for any application basically needing to be restarted in order to hear
audio again. This includes video games, VOIP programs like discord and youtube vids. I restarted my computer and unplugged my audio speakers, but nothing really changed. I tried to disable my other audio devices, but the sounds would disconnect and cut off
anyway. I have not tried uninstalling the audio device I use, but I am afraid to do so. I have the latest version of windows 10 and this literally started today out of nowhere.

I suggest you to Change the USB power management settings and check.

  Open Device Manager.
  
• 
  Double-click the type USB to change power management settings.
  
• 
  Right-click the specific device you want, and then click
  Properties.

  On the Power Management tab, change the power management settings.

Rear audio ports always show as “Not plugged in”


I've been having this issue with Windows for about a week now which NONE of the back panel/front panel connectors (speakers, microphone) are being recognized by Realtek audio manager. The only audio input/outputs that are showing are the optical.
Troubling shooting steps I've tried (none worked):

• COMPLETELY uninstall all Realtek drivers/reinstall
  
• Tried using windows drivers
  
• Reinstall Windows 10
  
• Upgraded chipset driver
  
• sfc /scannow

I called EVGA and asked for RMA but then I booted into a Ubuntu OS and all the ports work FINE. It must be a problem with windows 10.
Can you think of any other troubling shooting step I can try to fix this annoying issue? Thanks!
