    I too faced the 100 percent disk problem , tried various solutons suggested on the net , disabling virtual page , disabling prefetch , disk clean , windows debloater , none worked , finalyy came across the suggest of 10forty3 in this forum , he suggested to download spybot which stops the windows defender which is the main culprit. Trying to disable windows defender did not help until spybot is installled. spybot is not free , I had to donate 10 dollars to download the minimum version. but it helped. after installing the spybot , I could not shutdown the computer , waited for one hour then wit

    win10 laptop, showing 100 Percent Disk Usage

    I have win10 laptop, showing 100 Percent Disk Usage, cannot find standard SATA controller, nor Superfetch as suggested on the website. How can I solve the problem?

    100 percent disk usage

    iv tried everything suggested there, nothing helped. everytime i restart my computer the disk is in 100 percent usage. some times it will go under(to 50-60) but never below that. and i dont think is "Just means that your hard drive controller is maxing out and performing as designed", because every time it gets to 100 percent the computer get very slow.
