    The 2004 update is driving me insane


    First it got stuck in windows update while it was installing. Today I got Windows 10 Update Assistant and it is currently at 99%. It took 6 hours to get here and I'm afraid it's stuck at 99% now. Why can't the process of updating be simple and quick?

    I don't even know what to do now. I don't know if the updater is even doing anything but I'm scared to terminate it in case I lose my progress...

    Can someone please help me?

    Once done it starts to install then I get this message.

    Some update files are missing or have problems. We'll try to download the update again later. Error code: (0x80073712)
