Windows 10 Mail will not access my Road Runner email

I had been using Windows Mail 2012 after upgrading to Windows 10. Last weeks email telling me that Windows Mail 2012 will not be supported after 6/2016 motivated me to try Windows 10 Mail again. I have two email account, a live account and a Road Runner
email account. Windows 10 will not add my Road Runner account. I enter different or POP email to begin to set it up. Enter my email address and password for that account and always get a reply " unable to add this address" with Cancel or Try Again.

I had my Road Runner email synching with Windows Mail 2012. Frustrated that Windows Mail 10 won't synch. I can synch my email addresses on my iPhone but not on Windows Mail 10.......

 

HD2 - road runner email?

Has anyone been successful sending/receiving emails with a road runner (.rr.com) email address? I have had a rr email address for years, but have been told by T-Mobile that they don't relay. I have set up a live email account but do not know how to forward
my rr to live. Would ideally like to use the rr account if anyone can tell me how - tech support says it won't work, Time Warner Cable says it will work, but no one has been able to tell me how to set it up to actually work.

Here is the step to remove that old email address.

Start typing an email address into the “To” field. As soon as you see the old email address being recommended as one of the potential candidates, use the down arrow key to scroll through the list of suggestions. Once you highlight the old email address, type the delete key. In many cases, this will actually remove the entry not only from the current list of suggestions but from future suggestions as well. You may even find that as you mouse over the drop-down list the highlighted item will have an “x” to explicitly allow you to delete it.

Just do this step and your good to go.
