I have a Vivobook 15 Pro K6502HC with Thunderbolt 4 support. When I tried to connect the eGPU GPD G1 with an AMD RX 7600M XT graphics card, the laptop could not recognize the device. After reinstalling the system, the laptop briefly detected it, and I successfully installed the GPU driver. However, after shutting down and restarting the laptop, the problem reappeared—the eGPU was no longer detected, either in the Thunderbolt Control Center or in Device Manager.I have tried various solutions, such as reinstalling the Thunderbolt driver and updating its version, but none of that worked. AMD eGPU on Windows 11 - external graphics does not show up in Device Manager

Hi there,

I have a Lenovo X13 Gen2 with Windows 11 (latest updates on both) with a Razor Crore X with AMD RX 5700 XT and a Thunderbolt 4 cable.

Everything works with a Macbook Pro and a MacBook Air as it should under macOS. But does not with my X13 under Windows 11.

Any Ideas?

I do not see the external graphics card on the Device Manager, but I get a Thunderbolt error when plugging in. I have used two different cables, both work on macOS, none on Windows 11...

12gen intel Thunderbolt 4 implementation in Win11 / eGPU stuttering

Hello. I have a XPS 15 9520 / i7 12700H / 32GB RAM / 2x 1TB drive / RTX 3050 Ti / OLED

I bought a eGPU encloure Razer core X + nVidia RTX3070

When i play games like Cyberpunk 2077, they terribly lags and stutters. I have all drivers updated and disabled the dedicated 3050 Ti. Long story short. I found that the problem is 12gen intel thunderbolt optimalization in windows 11.

I installed a bootable external drive with windows 10. All games runs great and smooth. The experience is mutch better. The difference is Night and day.

Does Microsoft plan to fix this issue? I dont like the idea to dual boot second windows. I would like to have a plug and play solution in windows 11, or iam gonna return the eGPU enclosure.
