Windows 10: the apps opens on taskbar but not on my screen. why?

ive been using windows 11 for 1 month now and im having problems opening app. for example a while discord wasnt opening on screen but it was shown that it was open on task bar. i had delete it and install it again in order to be able to open it. now i have the same problem with steam, it opens on task bar but not on my screen, is there any other way that it can be solved rather than deleting it and installing it again?

Moving the taskbar

You can customize your taskbar to pin your favorite apps to it, move it to where you want to display on your screen, and specify how taskbar buttons group together when you have more than one window open. To address your question, we suggest
that you follow these steps on how to move your taskbar to a different location on the screen:

• Open Settings and choose Personalization.
• Select Taskbar.
• Under Taskbar location on the screen, click the drop-down menu and select
  Bottom.

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

Apps won't open from taskbar, or open behind all other open screens

I have a new Dell computer running on Windows 10. Upon originally setting it up, the taskbar either 1. Will not open any of the apps on it, or 2. if it does open an app, it opens it up behind ever other currently
open screen. You can only open apps on the front screen by typing the name of the app in the searchbar. This very annoying if you are working simultaneously on a number of apps, such as File Explorer, Word and Powerpoint. I have seen a few suggested fixes,
but they make reference to buttons in Settings that do not appear on my Taskbar settings screen (I seem to recall that, in older versions of Windows, there was a Taskbar setting that you could click and all new files opened on the top screen. I cannot seem
to find such a button on this machine). If the apps are already open, you can access the files that are already open by hovering over the taskbar button for the app, but if the app is not already running, this does not work. Any suggestions?
