Windows 10: the audio input and output tab is gone, the system does not see the headphones

the audio input and output tab is gone, the system does not see the headphones. The drivers have been updated, the BIOS and the system has been reinstalled. I have windows 11 and the motherboard H510M HSV R2.0. Please help

Audio input not switching to headphones

I had upgraded to Windows 11 in my Acer Nitro 5 a while back which runs Realtek audio drivers. At first there used to be a popup allowing me to choose which audio device I had plugged in (headphones/headset) where headphones would have output to headphones and input from the integrated microphone while headset switched both output and input to the headphones. But recently, the popup stopped showing and I am unable to switch the input audio from the integrated microphone to headset microphone despite going through settings and control panel. Is there a solution for this?

 

Headphones Cause Video and Audio Playback to Stop

I performed all of the steps suggested, but still no audio when any change is made in the audio source related to the output jack -

if it's changed at all from system speaker to external speaker or to headphones, audio will stop unless the computer is restarted.

 

No audio input or output devices found

After the last update of Windows 10, no audio devices are listed

Searching in the device manager: all audio devices say it works fine

The sound setting says: no output or input devices were found.
