Windows 10: The backlight is not working on ASUS Tuff SOLVED

Please follow all these steps:1. On your Search bar, please type the Armoury Crate and open it.2. Once opened, on the left pane, go to Device > System > Lighting > Settings3. You will see the General Settings for your backlight in here.4. Turn ON all the settings except with the Sleep mode or you can turn it ON depending on your preference. 5. Please check if your keyboard backlight is now working 6. If it’s not working, on you keyboard, press the “Fn” + Up arrow key altogether. Issues with Asus tuff laptop windows reset

I recently got a 2020 Asus tuff gaming laptop , i went to factory reset it and this shows up “ The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. Windows installation cannot proceed. To instail Windows, click "OK to restart the computer, and then restart the installation.” Everytime i click ok the same thing shows up and i can only access the BIOS. What can I do ?

 

touchpad gestures two finger scroll not working Asus 501

Hi there,

1. Go to N501VW | ASUS Global Downloads
2. Download the latest ATK - ATKPackage driver
3. Download the latest TouchPad - ASUS Smart Gesture (Touchpad Driver)
4. Uninstall both the Touchpad driver and the Asus ATK package driver.
5. Reboot
6. First install ATKPackage driver (IMPORTANT to do this FIRST)
7. Reboot
8. Then install the TouchPad driver (may need to reboot)
9. Test if all is working as it should

I had this same issue with my Asus UX305 when I upgraded to Windows version 1803 and doing the above steps solved the issue for me.
