Windows 10: The Boot Configuration Data file doesn't contain valid information for an operating system....

My laptop was running just fine a while ago and even used it for online class. Until recently, I opened it again but this time it showed that error. I tried to reset my PC but there is no option and it led me to Advanced Options. I tried typing bootrec. exe \fixmbr but then it says The system cannot find the file specified. I tried other commands but no use. I tried uninstalling updates but it says We ran into a problem and won't be able to uninstall the latest quality update of Windows. At this point, I feel like i'm on a Dead End and that there's no way to fix it. I really need the laptop fo

I am having HP 2000 Laptop with pre - loaded official Windows 8 OS. I got the message for automatic up gradation to Windows 10 and I opted for that. After July 29th (I don't remember the date exactly on which date it was installed), I got the Windows 10
installed online. From that day, I am getting the following message on every time I am starting my Laptop:

Error Code:OXC0000098

You'll need to use recovery tools. If you don't have any installation media(like a disc or USB device) contact your PC administrator or PC/Device manufacturer.

Press Esc for UEFI Firmware settings.

When I press Esc it goes further and the following Message comes:

F1 System Information

F2 System Diagnostics

F9 Boot Device options

F10 BIOS Set up

When I press Enter, it goes for normal operation and thereon no problem.

Please suggest the get rid of the starting Hick up and waste of time.
