Hello, I have a problem starting my hp laptop Windows 11 Pro. All this is on a white background and two lines are written “UEFI - Windows Boot Manager” and “Boot from file”

Maxtor Hard Drive Beep

Maxtor drive beeps

Have a similiar situation using a DiamondMax Plus 8, 20GB Mfg Date 4/15/03. Drive used as a second system drive. Drive is recognized in boot menu but not in drive list. Drive is always connected. Computer started locking up for several seconds at a time. Chkdsk on drives and couldn't find that drive. Removed drive from bay to make sure connections were ok and heard the beeping. Shutdown and restart and never got to windows screen. Restarted several times then saw drive in boot menu and Windows loaded but Maxtor not in drive menu. When recognized in boot menu, computer will start but beeps and is not found.

Tried kicking it real hard but no improvement. Any suggestions?

To help you with your concern, we suggest that you troubleshoot the keyboard. Follow these step by step instructions on how to troubleshoot:

• Click Windows tab.
• Type Troubleshooting.
• On the left side, click View all.
• Choose Hardware and Devices.
• It will prompt you to run as Administrator. Enter your credentials then it will check for any problems with your computer.

Keyboard beeping on any key

I've got Windows 10 for quite some time now.

Started earlier today, first my laptop keyboard stopped working, every key, followed by a brief beep on every one of them. But just after loggin in. After enabling and desabling some accessibilities regarding the keyboard, I was able to type, but Always
followed by the beep, on every single key.

I lurked a little, thought to go on on driver update, but my desktop is doing the same. Only in my account. My husband uses the same desktop, and his user account Works perfecly.
