Windows 10: The brightness, FN and esc keys are not working anymore

Hello, my laptop brightness keys now no longer work for no reason, even when I press the keys. I also keep trying to use FN and esc to use the fn lock and unlock but none of the keys work. The brightness doesn't change when I click on the buttons or drag the slider in the settings. I tried checking for updates on everything, restarting, doing a system reboot, nothing worked. Please help. Laptop is Legion lenovo 5i if it helps, I have a warranty and the laptop is only 3 months old.

Esc key not working without pressing Fn

On my HP Probook 650 G1 some of the F1 - F12 keys have special functions like changing the volume/brightness, etc. I changed my BIOS settings so that I don't need to press the fn key to use those options, but now the esc key also only works when I press fn + esc. Is it possible to leave the F1 - F12 keys like this but still use the esc key without pressing fn?

Let us try this. Some laptop models allow us to disable/enable Fn key by holding Fn key and press Esc.

So that, the volume and brightness can be changed without/with Fn key. Fn can be locked by Fn+Esc → volume and brightness can be changed without Fn key.

I have problem with the fn key for brightness. it work before I format my pc but now didn't work.(p.s for sound, fn keys works but for brightness did not).

which can be the problem if u can help me, I will be thankful.
