Shortcuts I add now are "Google", but the changed shortcuts remains "e"

Error code: 0x80070194 the cloud file provider exited unexpectedly, when trying to access files of OneDrive

I just purchased a new Surface pro. When I signed in everything was transferred but I'm having trouble opening documents on my OneDrive. I'm getting an error code 0x80070194 that says "the cloud file provider exited unexpectedly".

Configure cloud service providers

I purchased a Windows 10 PC for testing. I don't use third party cloud service providers, so I would like to completely remove OneDrive. I have my own personal cloud, so I would like the Operating System to use my local installation of OpenStack.

I tried to remove OneDrive via the control panel, but its not listed. I also tried right clicking and Uninstall, but the option is not available. I found a tip using the PowerShell, but the removal failed.

I also failed to locate information on switching to my cloud service provider. Confer, "windows 10" change cloud service providers site:microsoft.com.

How do I:

• completely remove OneDrive from this Windows 10 machine
  
• configure the operating system to use my OpenStack installation

Supporting an end user who uses Power Query with Salesforce integration to do Excel database work. These problems started after they were upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10 (version 1703).
1. They're unable to link to Salesforce; 2. they're getting this error when attempting to run query's.
Is anyone familiar with this error code or what it means? I can't find anything on it re: this specific issue.

Also, are there any recommendations for how to collect log data or what not that may be useful in pinpointing the root cause of the issue? I know about Offcat but that's about it. I couldn't find anything telling in Windows Event Viewer.
