    the colors on one of my games suddenly look washed out


    alright so i was playing one of my games like normal when i suddenly saw that whenever i switch between windowed and fullscreen mode my game looks significantly better in the windowed mode and i had encountered this problem before but getting a new monitor had fixed it but it has come back and is way worse than before. the problem also doesn't show up on screenshots as it looks normal whenever i take a screenshot but it is very visible on a picture taken on a phone or other devices. anyone know how to fix it?edit: i forgot to mention, i am using a color filter and when i use the color filter,

    Awful washed out colors in Windows 10. Happens intermittently

    I wonder why nobody has suggested the OP to make a screenshot of display showing these "washed out colors"? Everything I have read in this thread suggests that the issue is not in Windows, but instead in display / monitor.

    My suggestion: next time you'll see these washed out colors, make a screenshot and post it here. If the screenshot shows us that colors are OK, then the issue is your monitor failing.

    Edge browser colors looks washed out.

    On YouTube and some other sites in the Edge browser colors looks washed out.

    On Chrome they are good. So I know it is not my computer. Being that they look different on the same PC in 2 different browsers.

    Is there anything to do about it?
