VSS Errors 8193 and 13

I use neither of those software and have the VSS errors too so IMO that not going to mater.

Edit: I just checked and now have none in last 2 days, but did have this one.

VSS ID# 13

I did do the fix for the ESENT ID# 455 so maybe that has affected this.

vss copy errors 13 and 8193 when inserting external ssd drive

it seems to be linked to inserting an external ssd in the usb-c slot and/or that it is bitlocked drive too?

Is it related to win 11 automatically adding the drive to the system restore list under system protection? Even if it is turned off it seems to add it. It also adds indexing, which I don't want.

What is causing these errors? Is it related to backup software or something else?

They also appear in the application log but seem to start as soon as the drive is inserted.
