Windows 10: The contrast of the screen distorted after Windows 11 update KB5016594

Hello. Yesterday I did an usual update for Windows 11 KB5016594. Today I open the laptop and the contrast of the screen is completely off. The black areas stay black but the ones that are supposed to be very dark are much more birghter. Here you can see with the example of TouchDesigner. On the left an old laptop with a proper screen on the right a new laptop with Windows 11 with new update. Any clues?

sound distorted after windows 10 anniversary upgrade

This is where I'm at on my HP laptop with Windows 10 and the Anniversary update.

I completed step #3 "hardware and sound" but that took me to an option for "sound, speakers." There was no "properties" as step #4 suggests. I selected "sound, speakers" and then found "properties." After selecting "properties" there was no "enhancements
tab" as step #5 suggests.

Regardless, I then uninstalled the realtek audio driver. I noticed that when I did this without restarting my laptop that the sound was now tinny, but not distorted as it was previously. After restarting, the sound was again full, yet distorted.

Realtek still shows in my programs list, though it shows no memory is used.

how to turn off high contrast

Hi,

Follow these steps on how to turn high contrast mode on or off in Windows:

• Type "high contrast settings" in the search box, and then select High contrast settings from the list of results.
• Under Choose a theme, select a high contrast theme from the drop-down menu, and then select Apply.
• To turn off high contrast mode, select None from the drop-down menu, and then select Apply.
• To turn high contrast mode on or off from the sign-in screen, select the Ease of Access button in the lower-right corner and choose High Contrast.
• To turn high contrast on or off from the keyboard, press left Alt + left Shift + Print
  Screen.

Display Distortion after Window 10 11/2017 update

After the latest Windows 10 update I have display problems:

Display Setting: 1920-1080

Driver Version: 10.0.16299.15

Display Problems:

• The Windows 10 sign-in screen comes up distorted (cursor and icons enlarged in width and height) as well as the picture
• Sometimes a with pin point multicolored 1.8cm square comes up, which leads to same distortions eventually as under 1. later.
• I am using password sign in. With the latest version I have to sign in twice before I am getting to the desktop screen.

Remarks:

• Problem 1. and 2. can be corrected by restarting or shut down, restart the computer.
• I do not think it is a computer problem as at system start the full screen DELL Logo comes up in perfect dimension and resolution. The Windows 10 passing Logo and turning point are distorted.

Has anybody got a resolution for this? Thank you in advance !
