  1. The created file failed to upload by application service, also cannot modified or deleted

On C:/program filesx86/Application_name folder, Application does not having full access to the created files.Application service can be able to create a file in the app's folder. The file created could not be modify/delete by the service. When the service tries to upload the file to server through curl library. It also gets failed with curl error. What would be reason for failing to upload files that created by app service in the above mentioned folder?

    :)

  2. How to Customize File Sharing Permissions to Create/Modify/Delete FILES... but not FOLDERS?

Hello. I need to customize a shared folder on my network so that one user (Reba) can create, append, modify, delete all FILES within that folder and subfolders... but Reba should not be able to create or delete the FOLDERS.

I've tested various configurations, and the closest I've been able to come is to create
TWO sets of Advanced permissions for Reba:

    1. The first instance of Reba, is ALLOWED, applied to "This folders and subfolders,"

    • Traverse folder / execute file
    • List folder / read data
    • Read attributes
    • Read extended attributes
    • Create files / write data
    • Write attributes
    • Write extended attributes
    • Delete subfolders and files
    • Read permissions
But Reba is DENIED permissions of:

    • Full control
    • Create folders / append data
    • Delete
    • Change permissions
    • Take ownership

    2. The second instance of Reba, is ALLOWED, applied to "Files Only:"

    • Traverse folder / execute file
    • List folder / read data
    • Read attributes
    • Read extended attributes
    • Create files / write data
    • Create folders / append data
    • Write attributes
    • Write extended attributes
    • Delete subfolders and files
    • Delete
    • Read permissions
But Reba is DENIED permissions of:

    • Full control
    • Change permissions
    • Take ownership

The above configuration does deny Reba the ability to create folders/subfolders... but ALLOWs her to delete folders (which I do NOT want her to be able to do).

File Explorer Date Created and Modified not always correct

    Hi,

The File Explorer may have encountered a system conflict that caused this issue. For us to start with initial troubleshooting, we'd like to know more information, kindly answer the following questions:

    • Which build and version of Windows 10 do you have?
    • In File Explorer, what does it indicate in the Date column? Does it show Date Modified or Date Created? (right click the Date Modified section at the top, which are the ones that has a checkmark?)
    • Which troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

Kindly get back to us for further assistance.

  4. The created file failed to upload by application service, also cannot modified or deleted

Sportstracker - upload to service failed

    Update:

After uploading a workout successfully, on a whim, I tried to upload a workout that had previously failed and it worked!

So I guess it can't be the datafile on the phone that is broken but a problem with the web service.

The only trouble is the list of workouts on the web site can be ordered by upload date, but not workout date, so old workouts recently uploaded will appear at the head of the list.

    Hope this helps.
