Windows 10: The current software/tab automatically minimizes when battery saver turns ON automatically...

Recently, I've been experiencing a problem in Windows 11, in which the software/tab for e.g. microsoft edge on which I'm working gets minimized automatically when battery saver mode is enabled ON due to low battery.About a month ago, I started experiencing this problem before that i was not facing this type of problem plz fix this bug.

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I suggest you to try the following methods and check:

1. In the search box on the taskbar, type Device Manager and then select Device Manager.

2. From Device Manager, expand the Batteries category.

3. Double-tap or double-click Microsoft Surface ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery, select the Driver tab, and select Uninstall > OK, Driver will be reinstalled automatically when you restart your Laptop.

4. Shut down your laptop.

5. Remove the battery if you have a Removable battery.

6. Skip the step if your laptop doesn’t have a removable battery.

7. Insert the batter back if you removed it.

8. Power on your laptop.

9. Once this steps are performed, follow the below steps to turn off the Battery saver.

Turn off Batter saver.

1. In the search box on the taskbar, type Settings and then select Settings.

1. Once the Settings app is running, click System icon

2. In the left-pane, tap or click Battery Saver to see overview of battery saver feature

3. Click on Battery saver settings, uncheck the option titled Turn battery saver on automatically if my battery falls below option to disable Battery Saver feature.

I cannot turn off the battery saver

Hello Robert, hope this message finds you well. My name is Steve and I'm an Independent advisor.

I recommend that you follow the steps below one by one to fix your issue

1. Go to the Search box on the taskbar, then type in Device Manager and click on it

2. Under Device Manager, double click the Batteries category

3. Double click Microsoft Surface ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery, then select the Driver tab, and click on Uninstall - OK. (The driver will be automatically reinstalled when you start your computer.

4. Turn off your pc.

5. If you have a Removable battery - remove it and then insert it back

6. if you don’t have a Removable battery - skip this step

7. Turn on your computer

The steps to turn off the Battery saver:

1. Go to the search box on the taskbar to type Settings and click on it

2. Find Battery Saver on the left-pane and click on it to see overview of battery saver feature

3. Tap on Battery saver settings, then uncheck the option Turn battery saver on automatically if my battery falls below to disable Battery Saver feature.

Is battery saver will be automatically activated on when battery is low? I have setting in advanced [ Conserve battery : when battery is low ]
