Suddenly my D-drive started showing that its full. However, when I checked the total size of all files, it was way less. I restarted and then shut it down a couple of times, but no win. Has anyone come across such a thing.? How to fix it? Because now every now and then it is causing an issue that says shortage of memory. Thanks in advance.

  2. Screen size does not fix.

Since the new upgrades the screen size is too big for my 7 YR old Toshiba Laptop, which I use constantly. I Can not access the x or the scroll bar. The character's are Hugh, stretched and distorted. I have followed every single step listed in troubleshooting
and even paid two computer techs to fix it. NOTHING WORKS! There used to be a simple one step adjustment: Settings: Display: Screen Size. Neither, Resetting, troubleshooting app, driver updates, changing to another resolution (which btw is suggested as a
fix but non existant) nothing works. I am at wits end. The last guy I paid to fix it suggested I just buy anew unit? I can't afford that. Please please address this issue asap. Thank you

  3. New Laptop - Recovery/DDrive full

How can I clear my DDrive? It's brand new and there is an issue with the DDrive being full. While I tried to clear the contents, it's a recovery partition. I have an HP Pavilion.

The Ddrive shows its full, however the files inside are far too less in size. How to fix this??

JPG files from phone show incorrect file size (18GB) although size on disk shows (4KB).

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that you see incorrect file size for JPG files on your computer. I’ll certainly assist you with
    this.

    However, please let us know:

    • How were the files imported on the computer?

    • Does the file show as compressed (blue file name)?

    • Are you able to re-import the files?

    • Are the folders connected to OneDrive?

Meanwhile, you may want to refer the steps mentioned below:

    1. Right click on the JPG files and select
      Properties.

    2. Under
      General tab, click on Advanced.

    3. Check if the option for compress is checked or unchecked.

    4. Toggle the option and click on
OK and check if there is any difference.

    We await your response.
