Windows 10: The Documents folder is fine, but the Users folder is empty.

There is a game in which save files are saved in the Documents folder with the C:\Users\user\Documents\Game_Name path. I start the game today and the saves are unavailable. I check the Documents folder - everything is in place, all files can be opened. I tried to access Documents folder through the C:\Users:\user path, like I always did, but the user folder is completely empty. Then I go to the Documents folder again through My Computer and look at its path - it shows D:\Users\user. I have two disks - C and D.There is no User folder on drive D. I’m trying to find and indicate the root one in

I suggest you to Restore to Default the folders and document settings and see if it helps.

• Go to Download folder.
• Right click on the Download Folder and go to Properties.
• In Properties go to Location tab.
• In location Tab Click on Restore Default.

• Go to Documents folder.
• Right click on the Document folder and go to Properties.
• In Properties go to Location tab.
• In location Tab Click on Restore Default.

After performing above steps change the settings as you required and check if it helps.

Vista Ultimate - 'User' Folder Location

No tried that.

Can copy the entire folder to D; but Windows still points to C as the location. Can change personal folders location to a folder on D;, but this still leaves hidden files etc on C;. Thus meaning there are 2 Users folders. Have managed to change the Public folder location to D;, with some registry tweaks, but this doesnt seem to work for the entire folder.
