Hi, I've met a problem with my Realtek Network Ethernet interface. Windows blocks it from start with a reason:"The driver for this device has been blocked from starting because it is known to have problems with Windows. Contact the hardware vendor for a new driver. Code 48"therned stops working, and no matter which driver you're trying to install, event if you delete the device from the system and it picks up the Microsoft ethernet driver, anyway it doesn't make it work.

The error code 48 occurs due to outdated drivers on the current operating system.

Code 48: The software for this device has been blocked from starting because it is known to have problems with Windows. Contact the hardware vendor for a new driver.

I suggest you to contact the manufacturer of the device, search for the latest drivers and install them.

You can install Windows 8/8.1 drivers in compatibility mode if there are no Windows 10 compatible drivers.

Follow the steps to install in Compatibility mode:

• Download the updated software from the manufacturer’s website.

• 
  Right click the software installation file and select
  Properties then tap or click the Compatibility tab.
  
• 
  Place a check in the Run this program in compatibility mode for: box.
  
• 
  Tap the drop down box and select a previous operating system, then tap or click
  OK.
  
• 
  Try installing the iTunes software and check.

Follow these steps on how to update the driver:

• Follow the instructions to update the driver.

If that does not work, we suggest you contact the manufacturer of your laptop directly and ask for updated drivers for Windows 10.
