Windows 10: The driver for this device has been blocked from starting because it is known to have...

Hi, I've met a problem with my Realtek Network Ethernet interface. Windows blocks it from start with a reason:

"The driver for this device has been blocked from starting because it is known to have problems with Windows. Contact the hardware vendor for a new driver. Code 48"





I did some investigation and figured out, that WIndows works fine with the device, only until Hyper-V feature is enabled. After you enable Hyper-V and reboot the device - Etherned stops working, and no matter which driver you're trying to install, event if you delete the device from the system and it picks up the MIcrosoft ethernet driver, anyway it doesn't make it work.

Also if I delete hyper-v component, it starts working fine.

Can somebody point me to some solution of this problem?

The error code 48 occurs due to outdated drivers on the current operating system.

Code 48: The software for this device has been blocked from starting because it is known to have problems with Windows. Contact the hardware vendor for a new driver.

I suggest you to contact the manufacturer of the device, search for the latest drivers and install them.

You can install Windows 8/8.1 drivers in compatibility mode if there are no Windows 10 compatible drivers.

Follow the steps to install in Compatibility mode:

• Download the updated software from the manufacturer’s website.

• 
  Right click the software installation file and select
  Properties then tap or click the Compatibility tab.
  
• 
  Place a check in the Run this program in compatibility mode for: box.
  
• 
  Tap the drop down box and select a previous operating system, then tap or click
  OK.
  
• 
  Try installing the iTunes software and check.

Have you tried updating the driver for the HID-compliant mouse?

Follow these steps on how to update the driver:

To do this, follow these steps:

• In Device Manager, click the Driver tab in the device's Properties dialog box.
• Click Update Driver to start the Hardware Update Wizard.
• Follow the instructions to update the driver.

If that does not work, we suggest you contact the manufacturer of your laptop directly and ask for updated drivers for Windows 10.

touchpad driver update

Incompatible device drivers are known to operate against the method that Windows 10 follows. We suggest that you run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter to scan your computer, identify the problem, and attempt to fix the issue automatically. To run the
troubleshooter, follow these steps:

• Right-click on the Start icon and select Control Panel.
• Type troubleshooting in the search bar and click on
  Troubleshooting.
• Click on Hardware and Sound > Hardware and Devices.
• Follow the steps from the wizard to run the troubleshooter.
  

If the issue persists, uninstall the touchpad driver, then follow these steps to check if the issue is driver related:

• Right-click on the name of your PC at the top of the list of devices in
  Device Manager.
• Select Scan for hardware changes to reinstall the device driver, or download and install the latest version from the manufacturer’s website.
