Windows 10: The Economist app

How to download The Economist App for Windows 10. This is a crusial questions because I would like to use The Economist app to read and listen to it from my hybrid 2 in 1 windows laptop.

I just installed The Economist app on a Windows 10 desktop and it appears to be working quite well, including back issues and audio, which was impressive. Either MS or The Economist fixed the problems you were having or they are specific to your setup.

Just so you know, I did get a response from Economist this week despite their generally rather poor support and followed up with them, providing a link to this discussion. It is clearly or most likely an Economist App problem rather than MS.

Other Apps are working OK, so far altho. for one newspaper App, I have to switch to tablet mode.

That makes no difference for Economist.

However, I posted here because the App is from the Windows Store and supposed to work on Windows 10.

The compatibility is not an issue or should not be as the store says that the processor of the Pro 3 is OK.

I just retried the app 10 download again after the big Win 10 Upgrade today, but still NO GO.

You should note also that Log In to the Economist web-site works for me only using Thunderbird Browser;

Log in using Edge or Explorer is not recognized.

Anyway, don't forget that you can read the Magazine on their web-site until they sort this out.

I will report back here for a hopefully successful outcome.

Today Economist downloads work using the regular App, not the Win 10 App.

Don't know whether they tweaked the software overnight, but today is a Go on the old App
