    ran the suggested cmd and rec'd this:

    the element data type specified is not recognized, or does not apply to the specified entry. Run bcdedit /? for command line assistance.

    Element not found.

    Under the top of Windows Boot Manager section, look to the right of default, and take note of its identifier (default)

    bcdedit /set {default} safeboot minimal-

    Hi-I' m trying to enable safe mode from cmd and the following doesn't work Any ideas!!



    . In the Command Prompt, type in the command below and press Enter:

    bcdedit

    . Under the top of Windows Boot Manager section, look to the right of default, and take note of its identifier.(default)

    . Type the command below based on your preferred option of To start Windows 10 in safe mode with networking:

    bcdedit /set default safeboot network
