Windows 10 x64

An application, at first launch, reports the "The program can't start because d3dx9_27.dll is missing"

Noticed that whilst doing a search on this d3dx9_27.dll it mostly involves old threads and I am unsure as to whether I need to update Windows 10 with old drivers or so.

Any suggestions would be appreciate.

I should also mention that the X3DAudio1_7.dll missing error suddenly 'fixed itself' quite mysteriously without having done any update or other action to repair it myself. I also checked again the System32 folder and the file is there now, while before it
wasn't. And in fact the only think that i even downloaded since my last response was a game called 'Fortnite' and nothing else. So maybe, i say now, the X3DAudio1_7.dll was included into that game's files and forced automatically an installation to my System
in order to be able to play it? Is that even possible? Quite an unorthodox way to fix the problem..

The d3dx9_25.dll issue however is still there.

Do you still have the Age of Empire III game disc? You can also copy the d3dx9_25.dll file from the disc and paste it to your game directory.
