Windows 10: The file name " quotation mark search/rename quirk?

I hope Windows doesn't fix this after I've pointed it out, because it's convenient for finding a file quickly, as it automatically puts it alphabetically at the top of the list of file names in a folder, making it easy to find...I don't know if this works in Win11The items below are listed in the illustration below at the far right side.Follow along on the illustration...1. I don't know if this works in Win11

Follow along on the illustration...

1. I went looking for a file in file search.

2. After finding it, I got curious to see if I could rename the file Quotations, with quotation marks, so I single clicked it >>in the search results<< to highlight and rename it... which I did successfully.

3. I went back to the folder, and indeed the file name was "Quotations" which puzzled me, because I suddenly remembered that " was a forbidden character in a file name.

4. So I clicked the other file in the search, and tried to rename it within the original folder, and of course, it wouldn't let me !?!

I went back and searched it, and was able to rename it with quotation marks as well... but >>only in the Search results<< !

Clicking on the renamed files opens them with no problem?

I haven't been brave enough to rename a folder using this method...

Questions

What does Windows use a " for in their files that forbids their use in names?

Could I be screwing up something in windows' file system by renaming files for easy access in a given folder with the " in them?

 

crazy quotation marks

when I type quotation marks the first one is inverted and at the bottom of the line, the second, turned around. eg.: „of new possibilities“

This is happening in only one document. and the only soultion is to cut and past every correct quotation mark.

I have read all the similar questions and no one has suggested a correction that works. There are lots of language related suggestions but all solutions thus far have failed. Please give explicit instructions.

Please, please help!

 

Dumb Windows 10 quotation mark input

I've tired to fight against Windows 10 input method. It's stupid and extremely irritating. I have English United States-International keyboard and when I press ' or Shift+' no characters are printed to input. Only when I press the same key again again it
outputs two same characters. So when I want to put some thing to quotation mark I must do next steps:

• Press Shift+'
• Press Shift+'
• Press left arrow
• Input text
• Press right arrow

Compare with previous flow

• Press Shift+'
• Input text
• Press Shift+'

Looks much more simple? Yes? So, what the hell made you MS to "improve" quotation mark inputting? And so what I have to do if I just <removed> want to input only one quotation mark character? Press Shift+' twice and after then backspace? Are you <removed>
crazy? Where in settings maze are you hiding option to fix this issue? Who is that "genius" who invented this <removed>? When MS hired this "genius" did
the interview checked competency or there was
senseless questions like "Why manhole covers are typically round"? Who did approve this "genius" improvement? Are you <removed>OK?
