Windows 10: The fingerprint access doesn't work today. And forgot my laptop's password.

The fingerprint access doesn't work today. And forgot my laptop's password. Even reset the windows's password on cell phone, the new password still doesn't work when login on the laptop. Please anyone can help? Thanks.

I upgraded to Win 10 on my Sony Vaio. I always used fingerprint scan to login into my computer, and as such don't know my password anymore. Then, when I upgraded and tried to login with my fingerprint it didn't work. Now I can't login and I can´t Access
to my laptop! Please help me login into my computer, NOT into my Windows accout!!!

• Have you tried typing the password with On-Screen keyboard?

I would suggest you to try the following steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: On-Screen Keyboard

You may use the accessibility options to pop open a on-screen keyboard and type the password from there to make sure you are typing the correct password.

If the issue persists,

Step 2:

If you see your email address listed there, it must be a Microsoft account. You will be able to reset the password and log in if your PC is connected to internet.

The fingerprint is for convenience, not for a replacement. If you don't know the password, you will have to either remember the password or

try to recover it using these steps.
