Windows 10: The Fix is In!

ArtBrown3632 was wondering if Microsoft was ever going to fix the problems that came with the 1903 update and I am delighted to announce the answer is YES:


Isn't that the loveliest thing you have ever seen? VERSION 1909 is here at long last. Of course, this isn't the 9th month. Or even the 10th. It's the 12th Day of the 11th Month but STILL!


IT IS HERE and I am enjoying exploring all the new features of Edge and the OS. Not that most of them are actually new but, hey, SOME of them are.

First a cumulative update for 1903 that brings us to THIS: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...-10-update-history?ocid=update_setting_client And THEN after installing all that you go back and check for updates AGAIN you get:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4529964/windows-10-update-history which brings you to Version 1909 Build whatever it says in my image above.


I think I am gonna enjoy this!

Programs not working


In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
Are you able to follow them?
In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.

Good to know that the issue is fixed. Appreciate your efforts.

In future if you face any issues with Wireless connections, I suggest you to un-install and re-install wireless card drivers and check. Follow the steps:

I would suggest you to un-install and re-install wireless card
driver and check. Follow the steps.

• Press Windows key + X.
• Select Device Manager.
• Expand Network adaptor.

Right click on the wireless card driver and click on Un-install.

Now go to the manufacturer website of your
wireless card or computer and install the latest drivers for your
wireless card and check.
