Windows 10: The "Headset" setting on my bluetooth device works, but the "Headphones" setting doesn't work

With my PixelBuds bluetooth connected to my Windows 10 computer, when sound is outputted to the lower quality / call focused "headset" sound option, sound travels through with no problems. However, if I set it to the "Headphones" sound option, I can only hear little sounds going in intervals and no sound travels through. It seems that Windows thinks that sound is traveling through, but I can't hear any of it. Is there some sort of alternative driver I can download (it seems that the "headphones" are tied to an "avrcp transport" driver?

bluetooth headphones

setting up win10 Bluetooth and my Bluetooth headphones work fine ,but every time I reconnect the headphones I have to delete them from Bluetooth settings and let win10 pickup the headphones again ,before they will pair ,then win10 want to reboot to add the headphones ,I reboot and they work fine ,but next time I plug the headphone in again they will not pair ,don't even get an option to pair till I delete the head phones from the list ,, any suggestions ,, thank

 

Bluetooth Headset


So I have a couple different bluetooth headsets that include a mic. Neither are working the way I'm expecting.

I can hear but can't use the mic...and when I try to get the mic working then I can't hear anything. Also whenever I got to Recording Devices in sound settings the whole settings window freezes.

In the Sound Settings for Playback there is two devices for the same device I'm connecting. Headset and Headphones I believe. The headset is automatically set and default communication device and the Headphones is set to default device. Then in Recording settings there is one device that's set as default.

I've attempted putting the Headset on playback settings both as default device and default communication device...sometimes the mic works but I can't hear anything.

Anyway I can set it up to work properly?

 

Bluetooth headphones connect but headset portion does not


I have the exact same problem with my Bluebuds X





I have tried to manually add a driver through windows driver update (you can choose a driver device from the list)
but i'm not sure which one is compatible and had no luck getting the headset portion to work... *Sad
