Yesterday, I found out that the high-performance power plan was enabled on my PC. This was probably been enabled for over 8 months! I have an intel core i7 CPU and RTX 2060 graphic card. For now, no damages can be seen. Don't worry I enabled the power plan back to balanced. When I'm gaming the CPU temperature is between 50 to 60 celsius after I enabled back the balanced power plan and when I'm not gaming CPU temperature is between 35 to 45 celsius. Do you know how much damage has been done to my CPU? Should I be stressed? Thanks!

    :)

    Power plan?

Upon checking, it seems that there's nothing wrong with your system. It is usual that you have to double-click your mouse before your monitor wakes up.

For the meantime, we suggest changing the power plan by following the steps below:

    • Press Windows key + S.
    • Type in Power Settings.
    • On the pop-up window, choose Additional power settings.
    • Select High performance.

After changing the power plan, we suggest that you monitor the changes made and check if that will work for you.

Get back to us if you need further help.
