I left for a small trip and when I returned to my computer kept getting this notification asking for my input. Nothing like it has ever shown up before I left. No tabs open, nothing running, and the connection error seems to be coming from a service that I've never used, Lifetouch. Nothing I've tried so far has worked, I've cleared the DNS cache, cleared all cookies, cleared the Temp file, nothing has worked. This popup keeps coming up and the frequency at which it pops back up roughly 30 seconds after the last time I close it would imply some kind of imminent danger for my computer. So, is

I have randomly had these 2 error messages for more than a week and all troubleshoot have not been able to solve it.


I have done internet reset,

uninstall and reinstall internet explorer,

run antivirus,

upgraded windows 8.1 to windows 10.

I need help. The error messages are:

1 The identity of this web site or the integrity of this connection cannot be verified.

2. Internet explorer has stopped working.

When I boot my computer I get this security alert:

The reason for this alert is listed as: the name on the security alert is invalid or does not match the name of the site.

I click no. It ill keep nagging at me all day. I have no idea is this is an Incoming or outgoing issue.

I have viewed the certificate and it is changing names, so its not always the same site doing this.

What is this? How to I stop it or block this site/sites from trying to access my computer.

I have scanned with Windows Defender and with Malware bites. They are not finding anything.

Is there not a setting to block anything that does not have a valid certificate? Without nagging at me all day?

I'm using Windows 10 and I often get a notification of some kind telling me that "The identity of the web site or the integrity of this connection cannot be verified".

It happens (I believe) when running Visual Studio 2015, although the windows don't close with it. Also I cannot find the process causing it via task bar or task manager.

Also, the longer VS is open, the more windows appear. I left it open over night and when I came back to my PC there were hundreds, if not thousands of windows (the shadow overlaps and it's pitch black, that's how I know there are many windows open).
