Windows 10: The Images folder on my Windows laptop is completely empty. How to recover?

I have searched under C:/Users, nothing. Already showed hidden files, but there were none. There were >1000 photos and videos in that folder. Pls help recovering them.

Hi I formatted my hard drive and installed win 7 64bit and I forgot to copy my private folder from Windows Live Mail is there any way to recover it.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Unable to recover Image Backup

I would do this:

• Create a Windows 10 bootable repair flash disk with RecoveryDrive.exe. Do NOT copy the system files.
• Copy the complete image folder to this flash disk or to some USB hard disk.
• Boot the machine with the flash disk, then restore the image.
