    Hi,The above message appears every time I try to put in a USB or an SD card in my Lenovo Laptop. I know that this is related with the Group Policy setting. Unfortunately, I have tried ALL the available solutions online, without success. Can please anyone help me??

    Installation forbidden by system policy

    The device in question is a SanDisk 16gb usb drive. It works ok on this Win 7 computer, and it works ok on another Win 10 computer, but on one Win 10 machine I get this message, "The installation of this device is forbidden by system policy."

    What's the fix?

    Hello everyone!
    I wanted to ask for help since whenever I plug in a USB Stick I get the notification "The installation of this device has been forbidden by system policy," but I still get the notification that the device has been installed and is ready for usage. However, it doesn't show up when I browse the "My Files" folder. Anyone know a solution?
    I use Windows 10 by the way.
