Windows 10: The Internet connected logo is not showing on taskbar

The Network logo is somehow missing from the taskbar. Internet is still connecting but logo is not showing also the settings section is gliching out like in screenshots. when network option is clicked the network is opened for few seconds before crashing. I tried sfc command is hope of getting it right but it didnt work, I tried Dism command, tried disabling the drive and re enabling it, uninstalling the drive and then reinstalling it from device manager, also updated the wifi adapter driver. I even tried reseting the pc but it also fixed nothing. I believe nothing is wrong with wifi usb adapt

• Have you tried connecting to the router with a wired connection? If yes, does it behave the same way?
  
• Does the Network Status in Settings say you're not connected to the internet?
  
• Is the WiFi icon on the taskbar showing a limited connection? Have you also tried any troubleshooting steps?

  I was not able to work on this issue yesterday ( busy for a 90 year old). This evening I was able to take the steps that were suggested in your email.
  
  When I use “Device Manager” I click “ Network Adapters” I see “ Wifi” but not Eternet in this list. On the “Settings” I click “Wifi” which shows the “On' button.
  

I click” Show available networks”. I wanted to capture the page that is shown, but it will not show. The top line is Network ( connected) but course I have the Ethernet cable connected. Also showing Is Five “ Broadband connections” At the bottom is
“ Network and Internet settings” I hope for your continued help.
