Windows 10: The inverted color mouse cursor / pointer is sometimes hidden/blocked.

Hello, I've been using the standard "inverted-colors" mouse pointer for years. I just upgraded to a new PC with Win 11, from Win 10. The mouse pointer always worked as it always did everywhere all the time.Issue: On the new Win 11 PC, some apps don't render the "inverted-colors" pointer while it is within the window. It always works on window title-bars, taskbars, and within a few pixels of compatible windows nearly everything. The last item is weird, because there seems to be a transparent "buffer area" surrounding web browser windows, Windows settings app windows, file explorer windows

The only colors provided by Microsoft are black and white

Open the Settings App, go to Ease of Access - Cursor and Pointer size

The bottom row of settings adjust the color

If you want another color, you would need to download a set of Cursors for Windows 10

Copy those cursor files into C:\Windows\Cursors

Then open mouse settings from Settings - Devices - Mouse - Additional Mouse Settings and choose that set of cursors on the Pointers tab . . .

To access the settings of chaning the color of the mouse pointer please follow these steps:

1. Go to settings.

2. Click on the "Ease of Access" tab.

3. On the left panel select Cursor & pointer.

4. Then on the right hand side you will see Change pointer color, choose the colorde one then select the one you prefer.

Please follow these methods

Method 1

Change them in PC settings.

Step 1: Open PC settings.

Step 2: Choose Ease of Access to enter its settings.

Step 3: Click Mouse, and choose new pointer size and color in the options.

Method 2

Change Mouse Pointer size and color in Mouse Properties.

Step 1: Click the lower-right Start button, type mouse in the search box and select Mouse in the results to open Mouse Properties.

Step 2: Tap Pointers, click down arrow, choose a scheme from the list and select OK.

Method 3

Change size and color of Mouse Pointer in Control Panel.

Step 1: Open Control Panel.

Step 2: Enter Ease of Access.

Step 3: Tap Change how your mouse works.

Step 4: Choose new mouse pointer in the options provided, and tap OK.
