Windows 10: The keyboard cannot type in the start menu. How can I fix this?

My keyboard works in all situations except in the start menu and taskbar search. The on-screen keyboard also fails in the same way. This issue started after upgrading from Windows 10 to 11 version 22H2. I have tried restarting the computer, updating and reinstalling the keyboard driver, troubleshooting the keyboard, ensuring that Windows is up to date, ensuring that Human Interface Device Service is running, and using cmd to repair corrupted files with CFS and DISM. Nothing has worked. I do not want to go back to Windows 10. As a side note, the ability to use different keyboard layouts also

Step 1: Turn off on screen keyboard

• Open Start menu, type Settings in search bar and click on Settings.
• Click on Ease of access and select keyboard.
• Turn off the on screen keyboard.

Step 2: Turn off tablet mode

I suggest you to turn off tablet mode, as it may also be the cause for the issue.

• Open Start menu, type tablet mode settings in search bar and click on it.
• Turn off the tablet mode option and check if it helps.

Start menu not working

I found the following article, ran the suggested powershell command and my start menu is working again. Here it is as I found it:
Go to Start menu button and right click on it. This will open the contextual menu, after which you need to select Command Prompt (Admin). Once Command Prompt is open, go ahead with the following steps.

• Type and enter: Powershell
• Type the following: Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}
