Windows 10: The keyboard combination Ctrl + Alt + E or Alt Gr + E is not working to input the Euro symbol

Hello, the keyboard was working perfectly when suddenly after a key combination, I suppose, which I haven't been able to figure out, the keyboard combination Ctrl + Alt + E or Alt Gr + E stopped working to input the Euro symbol.I know it's not the keyboard because I was using it seconds before, and I've also tried other functional keyboards. The strangest thing is that in the operating system's login menu, I can still use the key combination normally. I'm somewhat desperate because I can't find any information, especially regarding Windows 11.I have also checked that the language settings of

How to type the Euro Symbol € on US English keyboard in Windows 10 without a numpad or "alt gr" key?

There are already many questions about typing the € symbol on keyboards where it is not one of the keycaps.

Unless I have missed one of them, the answers fall into several categories:

1. Alt E , which works on European keyboard layouts, maybe even UK English layouts, but not the US English layout.
   
2. Pressing the Alt Gr key together with some key, usually also E from memory.
   
3. Holding down the Alt key, then typing the Unicode hexadecimal codepoint for the symbol on the numeric keypad while holding the Alt key, and then releasing it.
   

But

1. won't work because in Australia we use the US English layout and there are no symbols mapped to any alt-key combinations.
   
2. won't work because my HP ProBook 430 came with a US keyboard, and US keyboards have no Alt Gr key.
   
3. won't work because the HP ProBook 430 is a nice small portable size and doesn't have a numeric keypad.
   

Yes I can install a different keyboard layout, but those move around many symbols programmers use and I'm a touch-typist so it would slow me down considerably.

Is there no other method I've missed among the other answers? Will I have to stick to cut-and-pasting the € symbol in Windows?

 

ALT + GR not working as intended

Cannot type the "{" and "[" character. Which is typed by Holding down "ALT GR + 7" and "ALT GR + 8" Key.

However typing "7" and "8" individually is no problem.

Also typing "@" which is achieved by holding ALT GR + Q works just fine aswell. Meaning every single key works individually.

Funnily enough typing with the on Screen Keyboard works aswell for every other combination except for "ALT GR + 7" and "ALT GR + 8"

 

Euro symbol on keyboard

I want to include the euro symbol in a password on a website but am unable to generate it. Normally, typing 'ctrl+alt+E' brings it out in a Word or pdf document but I've tried that and the euro symbol is still not showing. Please what can I do? Thanks.
