Windows 10: The laptop not waking up from sleep and has no power options. My laptop is having some...

My laptop is having some problems whit sleep mode it goes to sleep but does not come back there is a black screen and I need to restart it.Hibernation mode is working just fine but I would like to set it to sleep it is much faster. I had also seen I don't have power settings like performance on the control panel but I never did as I remember.I have Xiaomi RedmiBook 13.3 Rzyen 7 4700U 16GB RAM.

ASUS Laptop Won't Wake from Sleep Mode

Problem: about 80% of the time, my laptop won't wake up from sleep mode via keyboard press or mouse move/click. I seem to be missing many common features in power plan too, even after fresh Windows 10 install.

Troubleshooting Steps:

1. Reinstalled Windows 10 (clean)
2. Updated all drivers
3. Replicated on multiple Windows 10 versions, updates
4. BIOS latest version
5. No USB devices attached, ever. Only USB-C power and bluetooth mouse
6. Disabled "fast startup" in control panel

 

Windows 10 Power Options Sleep mode does not wake

Hi,

By pressing any key on the keyboard, clicking the mouse button, or opening the lid (if using a laptop), you should be able to wake up your computer from sleep. If you are having trouble doing such, we suggest that you perform the following to automatically
restore your power settings:

• Click Start > Settings > System.
• Go to Power & sleep, then click Additional power settings.
• Click the Change plan settings under your power plan.
• Click Restore default settings for this plan.
• Click Yes to confirm.

We also recommend that you run the Power troubleshooter by following the steps below:

• Type Troubleshooting in Cortana, the search box on your task bar.
• Click on View All on the left panel.
• Click Power, then follow the on screen instructions.

This is an built-in tool which will help you find and fix issue that pertains to your power or hardware settings.

Waking Laptop From Sleep

Since installing Creators Update (1703) which otherwise seems to be successful, my laptop no longer wakes from sleep when I open the lid and I have to press the power button to bring it back to life. No big deal but it always woke up by opening the lid. Would
welcome suggestions.
