Windows 10: The last two months Windows screen, keyboard and mouse freeze. Have to hard reboot. Will...

All drivers and Windows are updated. Ran virus check. Ran system check and adjusted Bios and a number of other suggestions I received, nothing works. If I reinstall Windows 11, I can save files and original programs that came with the unit, but all other programs I will lose and have to reinstall them, which is a pain. So, before I start the Windows reinstall, is this something that might fix my problem? Thanks!

windows 10 freezes at startup screen, cannot use keyboard or mouse, can't log in , if I get that far with the keyboard, need to use the virtual keyboard...have rebooted by resetting the power button on the tower (will this do any harm to the computer??),
has been happening since yesterday. Previously was working fine. Computer is only 2 months old, but I used my old keyboard and mouse.

Keyboard & Mouse Freezing~Requires Hard Reboot~Windows 10

I have two older gaming computers that have been upgraded with solid state hard drives and I wanted to go to Windows 10 from Windows 7. Installs when well, only a few minor problems. But on using both computers I have run into the same problem. Randomly, the mouse and keyboard will freeze on both computers. Even the power button will not reboot the computers, rebooting requires unplugging and re-plugging the power cord.

Really don't think it's a hardware problem since both computers are different manufacturers, hardware and configuration. Anyone have any ideas/solutions?
