Windows 10: the last windows update broke my phone usb cable recognition. what should i do?

i tried everything - tried uninstalling drivers, installing drivers, installing mi suite ( redmi note 7 ) - i also installed bunch of things i forgot the name of such as the microsoft media suite or something - what am i to do now?

• Press Windows+X key on the keyboard
• Click on control panel
• Select speech recognition
• On the left hand pane you will see Advance speech option
