Windows 10: The last windows update made my toolbar nonresponsive

Hi, the last update made it so that my windows key, toolbar, start menu basically everything stop working. I have tried restarting the windows explorer as well as going through powershell and none of it worked. Even my nvidia drivers say they are no longer compatible with my version of windows but had worked for well over a year. Does anyone have any suggestions? I can't access anything like setting and the most I can get too that will respond is my systems manager and task manager.

IE11 Google Toolbar no auto search suggestions, no search history?

Since the last Win 10 update my Google Toolbar won't list any search suggestions as I type and there is no search history listed. The Google tool bar will allow a search, but after a few searches no search history shows and no "clear search" button is listed either.

I have turnd on "Suggest searches as you type", and "store search histroy on my computer" in the Google Toolbar options.

Any suggestions to fix this?

This issue might be due to the compatibility of the Office 97 toolbar application with Windows 10.
I suggest you to install the Office 97 toolbar application in compatibility mode and check.
Follow the steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode.

• Download the drivers from the manufacturer’s website.
• Right-click on the installer and click on "Properties".
• Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box "Run this program in compatibility mode for” and select previous Operating System from the drop down.
• Click on ‘Apply’ and click ‘OK’ and run the file to install it.

Also, I suggest you to check with the Office 97 toolbar manufacturers once for any updates on the software.

Modification date of link files (lnk) is updated when clicked, and if they are in a toolbar

I'm on Windows 10, and I customized a toolbar in my taskbar, with links to programs (Notepad, Paint, Calc, ...). The steps I followed are:

• Create a folder MyToolbar
• In this folder, add the shortcuts to notepad.exe (notepad.lnk) and mspaint.exe (mspaint.lnk)
• Right click on the taskbar, chose Toolbar, then New Toolbar
• Chose the folder MyToolbar
• A new toolbar is created in the taskbar

Every time I click on one of these icons to launch a program, for example Notepad, the modification date of notepad.lnk in the folder MyToolbar is updated.

This is annoying: because of this behavior, the synchronization program I use updates this file each time I click on it.

Can you reproduce this bug? Any solution?
