Windows 10: The left-down corner of my touchpad fails to work from time to time.

From time to time, my left-down corner of my touchpad stops working randomly. At first the problem wasn't so persistent and i could easily fix it by pressing f11 lock touchpad/unlock touchpad two times and it would reset the touchpad istantly and also fix the problem. The fix wasn't of course permanent. Now the problem presents it self more frequently it reappears five minutes after my f11 key trick. Searching on the forum i have found only one other person who reported the problem, and i followed the same instruction that were given to him:1 I tried updating the touchpad driver it was u

Method 1: Run Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter

Follow these steps to run Hardware and Devices troubleshooter:

• Press Windows key + W and type troubleshooting.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• Select View all on the top left corner.
• Click Hardware and Devices.
• Follow the on-screen instruction to run the troubleshooter.

Method 2: Uninstall and reinstall the driver

I suggest you to try uninstall the Touchpad drivers check if it works for you.

Follow the steps to uninstall the Touchpad drivers:

• Press Windows Key + X key and click Device Manager.
• Right-click on the Touchpad device listed and click on ‘Uninstall’.
• Select the option to Delete driver software.
• Restart the computer after its uninstalled.

Try to access the device manufacturer's website and download and install the latest chipset and touchpad drivers.

Can't use my keyboard and touchpad at the same time.

This whole thing is outdated synaptics isnt there anymore i think and this isnt in the mouse pad options can you plz help by using pictures step by step or by explaining in detail because none of this is on my windows 10 HP laptop

This has been happening since the Windows 10 update, no issues prior to the Windows 10 update

• Is this the first time you experienced the issue?

It has occurred non-stop since the Windows 10 upgrade, no issues prior to that upgrade.

• When did the issue first begin?

After the Windows 10 update.

• To make sure we have not missed on anything, what troubleshooting steps have you done so far to resolve this?

I have found a work around by decreasing the resolution on my laptop to be at 1024x768 instead of the recommended 1366x768. I cannot increase resolution from 1024x768 without the mouse being erratic and uncontrollable in the upper left corner .
