Windows 10: The 'link to windows' device is registered as duplicate or has a different name.

duplicated names??

Had to reinstall windows xp home. Now my device (hp ipaq 110) does not sync anymore and says there is a duplicated name in the computer. I think when installing the OS I probably wrote a different name for the PC, but now neither the PC nor the PDA recognize
each other even as "new" devices, and they connect but don´t sync.

I will appreciate any suggestion... Thanks!

Try the solutions there especially the 3rd one. I had the same issue before and the 3rd solution from that link solved my problem.

If my suggestion did not solve the issue, please reply back so we can try other step.

Steps to do

• On your phone, go to SETTINGS
• Here, go to ABOUT - RESET
• When the comes back up, use your windows phone account that you use on windowsphone.com website. Your phone will be re-registered.
