Windows 10: the MC tool "DVD"cannot be used later for a clean install!

How do I create a clean reinstall disc following successful Win7-to-Win10 upgrade?

I assumed you meant: "You cannot create a DVD from the iso and do a clean install".

If you can't do a clean install, why would you bother to download the ISO and make a DVD?

Well, which is it? "You cannot ... do a clean install", or "you can do a clean install"?

That's what I did a month ago. But when I try to do a clean install, I am prompted for a Product Key.

 

" Waiting for approval " until when !????

It means that it's waiting for approval from your operator and it has nothing to do with Nokia.

You could call your operator and ask about this approval, someone in technical service may know that how long it takes to approve the newest firmware. (For some reason, every operator has to approve the firmware updates and only after that their clients
can do the update)

 

I upgraded a Windows 7 to Windows 10 desktop using Media Creation Tool "Upgrade this PC now" option. Then I used the Media Creation Tool to burn a DVD with and did a clean install by booting the computer from the DVD. Worked just fine, permanently activated and skipped entering a product key during the clean install.
