    driver power state failure

    On start-up my Microsoft Surface Pro often needs to restart, giving 'driver power state failure' as the reason.

    I've tried to go to windows.com/stopcode to resolve the issue, but I couldn't seem to find what I needed to do - any help would be gratefully received.

    Driver power state failure

    I have been running Win 10 for several months. Very happy with it until the latest update.

    Then started getting regular crashes with message "Driver Power State Failure"

    I have removed the latest update and all is well again. I expect it to go wrong again when it next updates.

    What do I need to do to get a permanent fix?

    Are the windows programmers sorting it out?

    None of the topics listed fit exactly so, I picked system failures.
