    The Mopria Scan support on WIN11 24H2.


    We developed USB scanner device and device both supports Windows and MAC.To support both O.S., the USB descriptor of scanner has 2 interfaces, each USB interface has two settings,We designed above since 2015 and worked well on Win7/Win10/Win11 until we tested the WIN11 24H2.On Win7/Win10/WIN11 23H2, the driver class of scanner is WINUSB.But we found the driver class on WIN11 24H2 switched to "USB Printing Support" .Please refer following table.MACWIN11 23H2WIN11 24H2Interface 0 Alternate Setting 0 WINUSB Alternate Setting 1 eSCLeSCLWUNUSBUSB Printing Support eSCLInt

    Mopria printer can not print with Win10

    Hi Dingyuguan-

    What is the brand of your printer ? If on the Mopria itself is not included on the certified list you will not be able or you will have trouble printing.

    Certified product list means that those brand are included and compatible to use the Mopria features.

    Mopria printer can not print with Win10

    I implmented Mopria on my printer, the printer can successfully print with "Mporia Print Service" APP and the "Default Print Service" on android device.

    On Win10, the printer can be successfully discovered, but can not be added(be added as unknow device ).

    My printer has not be included in the Mopria Certified Products list here: Certified Products.

    Does it matter?

    Mopria printer can not print with Win10

    Thank you very much for your help

    Fellowing the operation below, the printer can be successfully added.

    But when I tried to print a jpg file using the printer, a printing error occured.

    >press windows key and type device manager

    >on the device manager window look for printer or unknown driver

    >expand the printer list and update the driver

    Additionally，I want to know what's the meaning of "certified products".

    >Actually on 2018 Mopria added Windows 10 on their certified products to print easily on the devices.

    My printer has not be included in the Mopria Certified Products list here: Certified Products.
