Windows 10: The new 2021-12 Cumulative Update for Windows Server 2019 for x64-based systems KB5008218...

The new 2021-12 Cumulative Update for Windows Server 2019 for x64-based systems KB5008218 hangs at 24% for a long time before completing. It completes but what is it doing at 24% that makes it the longest percentage? Couldn't they take the whole time it takes to install this update divide that by 100 for 100% then more evenly nudge the percentage number? Instead, it takes 90% of its install life sitting at 24%.The Windows Server 2012 R2 version of this update was installed much faster than the Server 2019 version. Anyone else having problems getting the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) installed? This update has been failing for me & doing a failed to update after downloading & reboot, then rebooting & removing the update.

V 10.0 build 10240

Hi,

The update for the subject matter, "2019-12 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1809 for x64-based Systems (KB4530715)," continues to result in "-Error 0x800f0982," after many retries.

I am not great at computer skills but have some general knowledge.

I have no idea what:

• this update is,
• why the #'s 2019-12 differ from other questions,
• the #'s, "(KB4530715) ," differ
• & what the error is.

On my attempts to understand what this is all about I am directed to a Japanese site, "【WinUp個別】2019年12月の第一定例日KB配信【2019/12/11】."

Windows updates are failed in Windows Server 2016

We are using Windows Server 2016 for additional AD. And We are tried to install windows update in server. But Update Failed to install. I had try to lot of steps,
The below error is showed ,
• 2019-12 Cumulative Update for Windows Server 2016 for x64-based Systems (KB4530689) - Error 0x80073701

Please provide best solution.
